Pieces of me

Meet Roberta Carlson. She's a nice enough lady when you're trying to find the correct Purchase Order for a pallet of ToastMaster brand sandwhich machines, but you need only mention the name Arthur and she's off like a shot. You see, I found out that not only is this unfortunate woman's ex-husband named Arthur, but that she is also sadly dissapointed with the recent motion picture King Arthur. She then went on to talk about how horrible of an impact the PBS childrens show "Arthur" had on her 7-year old daughter. Top it off with her grief over the untimely death of tennis great Arthur Ashe, and you have a bundle of nerves all tuned in to one name. So when you look at her picture, see not just a overly tanned Nordic ice-queen, but a vulnerable woman who took a chance on love and got skewered.

I forgot to mention, she is no relation to the other guy who is pictured. I didn't actually use her real name, in case she's Sarah Whitson's aunt or something...

arthur ashe, i did a report on him in 7th grade, and the weird thing was, it was a geography class... but my teacher was Mr. West, a black athlete, so maybe it was for black history month or something... either way that lady sounds kinda nuts

I also understand that while Roberta did enjoy Dudley Moore in the 1981 Steve Gordon comedy "Arthur", she felt his performance was labored in "Arthur 2: On the Rocks" (all though that may of had to do more with Bud Yorkin's direction).
